LetsReg Booking gives you the option to switch on an approval tool. If enabled, this means that your participants can make their initial registraiton, then wait for approval before entering the card details to finalise their booking and payment.
This is especially helpful if your Booking page is open to a specific group of people, and you wish to ensure that nobody else registers. In addition, it can be used for events where the participant needs to have an existing amount of experience; you can then check their answers within their registration before approving it.
Stage 1 - Switching on the approve tool.
Stage 2 - Approving a booking.
Switching on the approve tool
To switch on the approve tool, navigate to the Settings tab within the Booking page setup:
Under the Page options, select Enable approve tool from the list. You also have the option to set a number of days for the orders to remain in the system after approving them; e.g., if somebody doesn't pay after a set number of days following your approval, their registration is removed and the space becomes available again. This can be switched on by entering a number in the box below:
Approving a booking
Once you receive a booking, your participant will receive a holding email advising them that their request has been received, but that their space is not yet guaranteed.
You can view and approve their order by clicking into the Bookings list:
Bookings that have not yet been approved will be highlighted in red. To approve them, click on the three dots under More and then click Approve order.
You then have the option to add a payment deadline. After this, click Approve. This will send an email to the participant advising that they have been approved. Within this email, a payment link will be included which they can use to finalise their registration.
If you do not wish to approve the order, you can select Delete/refund instead.
