If you are looking to use the sessions functionality, please follow this simple set-up guide.
Step 1: Create your sessions with one session for each day of the event.
Tick "Enable to add multiple sessions", then "Add new session." From there, enter the session name, venue, maximum number of registrations, date and times. Each session can have its own limit on the maximum number of participants.
If your sessions recur on the same day and time every week, e.g., every Monday from 9am to 5pm, you can set the "Recurrence" to "Weekly" and then enter the "End by" date. This will add a session every day between the first date, and the "End by" date set.
Alternatively, if your sessions do not recur weekly, please do not select this option.
For this example, I have added one session for each day of the 5-day event.
Step 2: Create your pricing options.
In this example, the price is £30 per day, but for a 4-day booking a £10 discount is offered, and for a 5-day booking a £25 discount is offered.
Step 3: Link your sessions to your pricing options. This is crucial to ensure your session bookings are counted.
Step 3: Option 1. If you wish for the sessions to be set by default, link them by using the Predefined option and then tick the relevant sessions. On the below example, the 'All 5 days' option is linked to all the sessions by clicking the spyglass icon.
Step 3: Option 2. Alternatively, if you wish for the participant to be able to select the number of days, please mark your price options as "Multi-Session" by clicking the spyglass icon. Select "Multi-Day" and choose the number of sessions they have to pick.
You can also determine how much information about the session is shown, set it to show future sessions only (recommended) and decide whether to show all sessions or just a set number (e.g., the next 10).
Step 5: Save your event and the setup is complete.
Booking Information
The registration form will give the customer the usual option to select a price category. Depending on whether you have used predefined or multi-day, the customer will either select a block booking (e.g., all 5 days) with no further selection needed, or a lower number of sessions (e.g., 3 sessions), at which point they will be asked to select their chosen days.
All 5 days - predefined:
3 days - multi-session:
The customer will receive a record of which days they have booked within their order confirmation. As the administrator, you will also be able to access their selected days within the online register.
